It was so great we came back a second night during our one week trip to the keys. We sat at the bar both nights and had great service from bartender Chris. If the swordfish is on the menu, GET IT. Simply some of the best fish I have ever eaten.
We stopped for lunch yesterday at Square Grouper in Islamorada. This is a beautiful restaurant - the sinks in the Ladies room are stunning. Service is always outstanding (Jaime), food is fresh, creative and delicious. Full bar and great wine list.
Best meal of our trip!!! Had the coconut crusted tilefish and the yellowtail grouper. Sat at the bar and Emily was fun and super welcoming and bar patrons friendly.Just a great vibe and food top notch.
If you’re going to Islamorada or going to the keys you need to stop by here. A must visit restaurant. I went to get lunch and no wait time at all. The food was delicious, the portions were just right (not too small, not over the top), and the prices were super reasonable. It’s not often you find a place where everything just clicks—good food, good value, and a chill vibe. Definitely coming back.
Great place for dinner. They don't accept reservations, and wait times can be long. They do have some rocking chairs out front, a lounge upstairs, a bar downstairs, and a spot out back to stand and hang out while you wait. Outdoor seating overlooks the water. There is also a waitress who walks around and takes your drink orders while waiting. The food was really good. We had Papitas parmesan chicken, grouper, and scallops. Wait staff is very friendly and although they were very busy our waitress was still attentive.
A great place, worth the wait! Great atmosphere with great food and service. A great place to dine when in the area! I had the grouper and my husband had the chefs special- both were delicious. Also- the key lime pie, yum!! We can't wait to visit again!
I can't say enough about this place. It was amazing. The food was spectacular. We had the tile fish two ways, blackened and panko encrusted, delish!! Their fish dip was amazing, the wild rice on point, and if you have a sweet tooth, you must try the magical brownie . Our waiter , Michael, was great, very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Very clean restaurant! I ordered a rice bowl with shrimp & I thought it tasted great, but I put the sauce on the side so I could add as much or little as I wanted. Sitting outside is a nice view. Nice atmosphere & everyone was very nice.
